Our Specialization in:
After
harvest season in Punjab, all farmers get together and celebrate after a
year long hard work. Traditionally, the dance performed by boys is known
as "Bhangra" and girls perform "Giddha". People from all age groups can
participate in these dances.

BHANGRA
(Traditional Group Dance)
Basically, Bhangra is performed in a group of 6-8 boys dancing on
the Dhol beats using symbolic instruments.

GIDDHA
(Traditional
Girls Group Dance)
In
traditional giddha dance, the group of girls stand in semi-circle
position and perform dance in a rhythm set by a unique hand claps with
“dholki” (drum). Two girls come forward and speak bolis (folk poetry)
and perform dance. The theme of folk poetry includes teasing arguments
on all family relations such as: Father-in-law & Mother-in-law and many
more.

Diyan giddha group, the girls from all over the world participates.
Especially, young girls from Italy, Czech Republic & other European
countries. |

JAGGO
A night before the marriage in a family, Jaggo is celebrated. The
young girls carry on their heads, a traditional, decorated &
lightened gaggar (pot) with candles. These girls sing Jaago songs
(folk songs) and dance through the streets of the village. Their aim
is to disturb old age people in their fast sleep but in a happy mood
and convey a message to them about the next day marriage ceremony in
their village.
